I’m Sachith Kodikara, a natural-light photographer based in Colombo, with 5+ years shooting hotel content and extensive travel experience, including international work. I photograph hotels the way guests experience them: the rooms, the grounds, the pool, the food and the drinks. In return for a complimentary full-board stay, your hotel receives a full set of edited photographs, Reels and a feature on my channels.

Per 2–3 night stay

What your hotel receives.

Everything below is delivered for one stay. No cash fee.

  1. Hotel photography set

    30–40 professionally edited, high-resolution images: rooms and suites, bathrooms, architecture, grounds, pool, dining spaces and details.

  2. Guest lifestyle imagery

    10–15 images of couple, family and solo guest moments: pool, gardens, spa and sunset.

  3. Food & drink set

    8–12 images: signature dishes, chef action and the bar.

  4. Reels and Stories

    2–3 vertical Reels (15–30 seconds) with your hotel tagged, plus 6–8 Story frames. The raw footage is available on request, shot in a flat log profile (D-Log / C-Log) so your team can colour grade it to your brand.

  5. Posted to my channels

    An Instagram feed carousel and Reels on the SRK Portraits channels, tagging the hotel and its location, with the hotel invited as a collaborator.

  6. A feature on this site

    A hotel gallery and review-style write-up on srkportraits.com, with a link back to your website.

  7. Usage licence

    Use all delivered images and video on your website, social channels, booking and OTA listings (Booking.com, Agoda and similar), newsletters and print collateral, with the credit “Photo: SRK Portraits” on social. I keep the copyright and portfolio rights.

  8. Turnaround

    The full gallery and videos within 7–10 days of the stay.

  9. Delivery

    An online gallery with full-resolution and web-optimised files, cropped for 4:5, 9:16 and 16:9, with raw video files on request.

  10. Optional extras

    A seasonal re-shoot, guest-style content for a campaign, or extra tagging and giveaway collaborations.

Simple terms, agreed in advance.

What I ask for

A complimentary full-board stay for one or two guests: the room and all meals, with food and drink available for the shoot.

  • Dates agreed with you, in a low or shoulder season period.
  • No cash fee. My fee is the stay.
  • Access to the rooms, grounds, pool and dining spaces you’d like featured.
  1. Say hello. Email or WhatsApp me with your hotel, the rooms you’d like featured and what you need most.
  2. Agree the dates. A 2–3 night stay in a quieter, low or shoulder season period that suits you.
  3. I stay and shoot. Natural light, around real guest moments, with minimal disruption to your guests and team.
  4. Full delivery in 7–10 days. Photos, Reels and Stories delivered (raw footage too, if you’d like it), then the posts and feature page go live.
